You are a Badass is a book I’ve read multiple times and plan to continuing reading in the future. This book’s message is for you to become self-aware, while providing advice on how not to care what others’ think about you.
The High 5 Habit focuses on celebrating all your small successes in life. Which in return, keeps you motivated and disciplined to achieve your goals.
If you’re interested in other books I’ll be re-reading in the new year, I’ve created a longer list of some of my favorite self-help books. Be sure to check it out!
Both Kraig and I LOVE winter! Which is one of the reasons why we moved out to Colorado. Some of my favorite winter activities include snowboarding, ice skating, and snowshoeing.
The holiday season is such a special, cozy time of year. Some of my favorite Christmas traditions include decorating a gingerbread house, making Christmas cookies, hiking into the forest to cut down the perfect Christmas tree, wrapping presents, and enjoying hot cocoa watching our favorite Christmas movies.
Two of my favorite DIYs to make this time of year include dried oranges & the best smelling Christmas time stovetop potpourri. They both make the home smell amazing!
I absolutely love Christmas movies! How the Grinch Stole Christmas, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, The Santa Clauses, The Polar Express, Elf, The Holiday, Home Alone, Four Christmases, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, and Santa Claus is Coming to Town (low-key love the old classics) are just a handful of Christmas movies I watch on repeat throughout the season.
When I say I’m obsessed, I’m obsessed! I purchased these long sleeve sleepwear satin loungewear pjs about a month ago, and already have my second pair ordered and on the way. They’re so comfy & cozy!
The winter season is the perfect time to cook cozy meals. I love using my Dutch oven to cook a variety of soups & chilis, my crockpot to prepare roasts, a KitchenAid to bake all our Christmas cookies, and glass containers to store all our leftovers. These kitchen equipment pieces are a staple in our kitchen this winter season.
After moving across country from Wisconsin to Colorado, being home for the holidays has an entirely new meaning. It’s so nice to travel back home, visiting with family and friends I haven’t seen in months.
The holiday season is packed with some of my favorite foods and drinks. Knowing this, a habit I focus on is to continue following a balanced lifestyle. This allows me to enjoy my favorite meals and beverages, without overeating. Here is a list of my other favorite habits I’ll be focusing on over the next few weeks.
