This Valentine’s Day Cake is one of the easiest and tastiest cakes I’ve ever made. Impress your sweetheart by baking this cake to share with them this Valentine’s Day!
One of my favorite parts about Valentine’s Day is sharing delicious sweet treats with loved ones. What better way to spend time with the ones you love than baking and sharing this cake with them?!
Coconut sugar – is a natural sweetener I like to use in my baked goods. Just be mindful this sugar will turn your batter brown.
Sea salt – enhances the flavor of other ingredients.
Milk – I always prefer to use whole milk, but feel free to swap for an alternative like coconut milk.
Unsalted butter – when choosing butter, try to opt for unsalted, pasture raised butter for highest quality.
Eggs – pasture raised eggs are the best, highest quality eggs to purchase.
Looking for more sweets to enjoy this Valentine’s Day? Try making the classic Puppy Chow to snack on throughout the day, Creamy Hazelnut Spread to spread over a stack of freshly made crêpes, or the Oven-Roasted Pineapple with Banana Cream to enjoy as a snack.
If you’re anything like Kraig and I, you tend to stay in for Valentine’s Day. If so, here are some of my favorite dinner recipe ideas: Italian Sausage & Spinach Minestrone Soup for a delicious, cozy meal. Garlic Butter Baked Chicken, heart-shaped pizza and the Lemon Garlic Teriyaki Salmon also make for tasty dinner options for this special day!
Did you try out this recipe? If so, be sure to tag me on Instagram – I would love to see how you decorate your cake!
I’m sending this to my wife!
