How to Make the Lemon Garlic Teriyaki Salmon

You may make the Lemon Garlic Teriyaki Salmon the day before or the same day you plan on consuming. If you choose to make the recipe the day before, simply place all ingredients within a sealed container and refrigerate overnight. Marinating for 8-10 hours will further the flavor of the salmon. However, you may also make this recipe the day of as it still tastes delicious!

Side tip: cover a baking pan with parchment paper when the salmon is ready to cook, for a quick and easy clean-up.

What Can I Pair the Salmon with?

This salmon recipe is both delicious and versatile. Salmon pairs great with creamy mashed potatoes, oven roasted veggies, Lemon Roasted Asparagus, and/or broiled brussels sprouts. This salmon also makes a great addition to a salad! Top the salmon on a bed of mixed greens with a variety of veggies for a nutritious meal to be served either as a lunch or dinner meal.

Lemon Garlic Teriyaki Salmon

The Lemon Garlic Teriyaki Salmon is a perfect recipe for busy nights! With only a handful of ingredients and a quick prep time, a healthy dinner may be served in less than 45 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon coconut aminos
  • 2 tablespoon teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 lemon half squeezed, half sliced
  • 2 1/2 pounds salmon Alaskan, Wild Caught

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425˚F. Cover a baking pan with parchment paper for easy clean-up. Set aside.
  • Stir the garlic, coconut aminos, teriyaki sauce, honey, and lemon juice in a large bowl.
  • Place the salmon in the bowl, allowing to marinade for at least 10 minutes.
  • When ready, place the salmon on the baking pan.
  • Place the sliced lemon on top of the salmon. Place into the oven and cook for 20-25 minutes or until the salmon is flaky. Enjoy!

Notes

You may marinade the salmon the night before for added flavor.
