I love making these Belgian Waffles for those busy weeks. Not only are they quick to prepare, tasty, and satisfying, they also freeze well. Perfect for a make-ahead breakfast!

You will LOVE these waffles! Not only are they quick to prepare and easy to freeze, they’re also versatile. Try adding different ingredients or toppings to bring out different flavors. Enjoy!
Flour Swap: Use organic flour to lower the amount of pesticides consumed.
Sugar Swap: Replace refined sugar with coconut sugar.
Fat Swap: Use avocado oil to increase the amount of healthy fats.
Boost Swap: Add a scoop of protein powder to boost protein intake.
Fiber: Mix in shredded zucchini, pumpkin puree, or mashed sweet potato to increase fiber and antioxidant levels.
Omega-3s: Add ground flaxseed or chia seeds to not only increase omega-3s, but also fiber and plant protein.
Protein: Stir in nut butter for extra protein, healthy fats, and flavor.
My biggest tip to make life a bit easier during those busy weeks is to meal prep. Which doesn’t necessarily mean spending all Sunday preparing for the week. It simply means doubling or tripling this recipe, then freezing the extras! Be sure to store them in a freezer friendly bag. When ready, simply add the waffles to a toaster, add your favorite toppings, and enjoy!
