Not all dietitians approach health the same way… e Not all dietitians approach health the same way… especially when it comes to supporting moms

And if you’re in early motherhood, you deserve support that actually understands this season of life 🫶🏼

In honor of National Registered Dietitian Day, I thought I’d share 5 things you should know about working with me as a dietitian:

1️⃣ I don’t just talk about food. We talk about mindset, gratitude, regulating your nervous system, and actually making time to fill your cup. Because as moms, that has to be a priority too.

2️⃣ I’m not going to judge you for what you’re eating. Some mornings really do look like a couple cups of coffee paired with cookies. Instead of throwing in the towel, I’ll always encourage you to give yourself grace and simply start again at the next meal.

3️⃣ I don’t just teach macro counting. I help you understand what each macro actually does in your body, and why carbs are especially important in motherhood.

4️⃣ We go deeper than “eat more protein.” We talk about symptoms like anxiety, depression, and even postpartum rage, because many of these can be connected to nutrient depletion. After all, growing a human inside and outside your body takes a lot from your system. 🍼

5️⃣ I focus on helping you build a strong foundation based on the six pillars of health. When that foundation is in place, you’re able to stay flexible when life happens - cue the toddler tantrum that throws off your afternoon. That flexibility is what makes healthy habits sustainable.

Because motherhood isn’t the season for perfection - it’s the season for support.

If you’re a mom in early motherhood looking for a dietitian who will support you on your health journey, come join my community. 🤎

And to my fellow RDs - happy National Registered Dietitian Day! 🍓🥑🍔
the time change can throw off sleep and energy mor the time change can throw off sleep and energy more than we expect 😴 one small thing that helps your body adjust is getting natural light early in the day (even if that means standing in the sunshine when you open the blinds in the morning)

l’ve noticed even a few minutes outside can help signal to my body that it’s time to wake up, making it easier to wind down later at night 🙌🏼

morning sunlight helps regulate the circadian rhythm, your internal clock that influences sleep, energy, and hormone balance☀️

small rhythms like this make a bigger difference than we think, especially in motherhood seasons when sleep already feels unpredictable

save this for tomorrow morning 🤍 and follow along for more simple habits that support real life in motherhood 🫶🏼

this week is my busiest one back at work since mat this week is my busiest one back at work since maternity leave..so instead of waiting until the week feels overwhelming, I’m prepping a few simple foods ahead of time that will help nourish us through the week 🫐🍳🍠

meal prepping has been one of the most helpful weekend routines that help my weeks feel calmer 🙌🏼

what I prepped:
chia seed pudding - adding to yogurt bowls
protein bites - quick snacks between meals
pre-cut veggies - crudité boards and for Karter’s snacks
egg bites - breakfast on-the-go
sweet potatoes - ready for a dinner bowl later this week
pickled red onions - easy addition to salads
cashew butter - toast or sliced apples

having a few things ready ahead of time makes meals easier and lowers decision fatigue during the week

these are the kinds of small rhythms that support real life in motherhood 🤎

follow along if you want health to feel doable in this season 🫶🏼
movement looks a little different in motherhood 👟🫶 movement looks a little different in motherhood 👟🫶🏼 some days it’s a walk outside... and some days it’s ankle weights while I clean our home

I used to believe workouts had to be long or structured to count, but in this season l’ve noticed how small bursts of movement actually make a difference - a quick mood lift and more steady energy throughout the day

even a 20-minute body workout in the living room can make a difference!

that’s the kind of movement I’ve been building my routines around lately - simple, doable, and realistic for mom life

save this as your reminder that it all counts 👏🏼 & follow along if you want health to feel supportive in motherhood🤎
one of my go-to snacks 🥕🫐🥒 instead of grabbing som one of my go-to snacks 🥕🫐🥒 instead of grabbing something quick and crashing later, I focus on building my snacks around protein + fat + fiber.

this combination helps blood sugars stay steadier - which means better energy, fewer cravings, and less of that “hangry” feeling in the afternoon.

these are the kinds of habits that have helped me build a strong foundation over time. what’s your go-to snack? 👇🏼

save this for your next busy afternoon and follow along if you’re ready for nutrition to feel doable in motherhood 🫶🏼🍓
one small thing that makes my week feel 10x less c one small thing that makes my week feel 10x less chaotic? washing and chopping produce on Sunday 🥕🫑🍓

when produce is already washed and prepped, meals and snacks take less decision-making at the end of the day.

and in early motherhood, fewer decisions = steadier energy.

this isn’t about having a Pinterest fridge. it’s about building small supports ahead of time so the week flows better.

little supports like this are what actually build a strong foundation over time.

save this for your next Sunday reset 🍋

If the habits you’re trying to build feel stressfu If the habits you’re trying to build feel stressful, they probably won’t stick in this season 🤍

For me, daily habits look like short stretches, steady meals, hydration, and moments of gratitude. Far from complicated routines. Because let’s be honest, motherhood rarely follows the daily plan lol

I’ve found that consistency usually comes from small changes that actually feel doable. That’s the kind of foundation that holds up when life gets busy.

Save this if you needed the reminder ✨
If this approach feels like a breath of fresh air, follow along as I share my foundational tips to building a healthy, sustainable lifestyle🫶🏼
