High Protein Beef Chili Recipe

This High Protein Beef Chili is the coziest recipe. Allow it to simmer on the stovetop for a few hours for a comforting bowl of homemade chili.

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs beef grass fed
  • 1 yellow onion chopped
  • 4-5 celery stalks diced
  • 2 (15-ounce) diced tomatoes with juice low sodium
  • 64 ounces tomato juice
  • 15 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 15 ounces dark kidney beans rinsed

Instructions

  • Brown the beef in a large soup pot. Drain the grease.
  • Add in the onion, celery, diced tomatoes, tomato juice, chili powder, and dark kidney beans. Mix well.
  • Bring the chili to a low boil. Then, reduce the heat (low to medium-low) to gently simmer the chili, uncovered for three hours. Stir occasionally.
  • Remove from heat and let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving. Enjoy with your favorite toppings!

Notes

If you are in a time crunch, allowing the chili to simmer for an hour will be suffice.
