Additional Add-Ins

Incorporate additional ingredients within the Fresh & Easy Guacamole recipe to personalize it towards your liking!

Add a jalapeno pepper, serrano pepper, cayenne pepper, or some ground cumin to increase both spice and heat. Mix in garlic, lemon or black pepper for even more flavor.

Mash the avocados towards your desired consistency. If you like your Fresh & Easy Guacamole smooth, mash the avocados with a fork longer than if you prefer chunky.

How Do You Store Guacamole?

Guacamole will turn brown when the avocado reacts with oxygen. Brown guacamole is safe to eat, as long as it is refrigerated and consumed within 4-5 days. However, consuming guacamole immediately after creating will make for the freshest guac!

Place the guacamole in an airtight container. Pour water on top of mixture to prevent the guacamole from turning brown. When consuming the guacamole at a later time, drain the water from the container and stir the mixture well.
