Margaritas have become one of my favorite cocktails – the bitter lime with a hint of salt makes a great combination. Not only are margaritas refreshing, they can also be personalized towards anyones liking.

The Refreshing Classic Lime Margarita

This Refreshing Classic Lime Margarita recipe is a perfect addition to any taco Tuesday! Be mindful, you only need one!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Tequila
  • 2 ounces Triple Sec
  • 1 ounces agave
  • 4 ounces water
  • 2.5 limes save half a lime for garnish
  • 1 dash salt
  • ice cubes per preference

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients into the cocktail shaker, including 2-3 ice cubes and freshly squeezed lime juice. Shake well.
  • Fill-up margarita glass with ice cubes. Pour mixture into glasses. Add a slice of lime as a garnish.
  • Sprinkle salt on top. Enjoy!

Notes

If you would like to salt the rim instead of sprinkling on top, wet the rim with lime juice and dip the glass in salt. 
If you prefer frozen margaritas, blend all ingredients into your blender. Pour into a margarita glass and garnish with a lime, enjoy!
