This Sunset Sweets Mocktail is a refreshing drink packed with vitamin C. It’s perfect for when you’re craving a non-alcoholic beverage!
To make this mocktail feel more like a cocktail, I prefer to create it like I would any specialty drink.
Using a muddler, press the orange slices in the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Add the orange juice, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and one or two ice cubes to ensure a crisp, cold drink to enjoy. Shake well.
Strain the mixture into a cocktail glass filled with ice, then pour over the sparkling water. I recommend pouring just four ounces of the sparkling water so the mocktail doesn’t seem watered down. However, you may pour more or less, whatever you prefer. To finish the mocktail, garnish with a thinly sliced blood orange. Enjoy!
This drink pairs nicely with an array of dishes for the perfect Sunday brunch. Listed below are few breakfast meals to pair this beverage with:
Mocktails provide hydration, added nutrients, flavor, and a make for a fun addition to any brunch, baby shower, or backyard wedding. If you’re looking for other mocktail options, I love the classic Lemon and Basil Mocktail and Appletini Mocktail – not only are they delicious and easy to make, they add great color to any table spread! The Sweet Dreams Cherry Mocktail is another beverage I would recommend as a delicious nightcap that can be used to promote a good night’s sleep.
