Nachos are hands down one of my favorite meals – they’re so versatile and flavorful! Nachos are perfect for any evening dinner or appetizer for football Sunday. Whether you’re keeping the nachos simple or adding all the toppings, follow these tips to make crispy and flavorful nachos every time.
When picking the right tortilla chip to use, choose ones that are a bit thicker, to prevent sogginess. I always reach for Siete’s dip chip as they are lightly salted, crunchy and delicious!
The limit does not exist on the amount of tasty toppings you can add to your nachos! Be creative with a variety of toppings each time you make this recipe. Add a variety of different cheeses, salsa, guacamole, bell peppers, tomatoes, jalapeños, beans, and onions to increase flavor and crunch.
When it comes to baking the nachos, first layer your baking sheet with the chips and cheese. Next, add your remaining toppings, being certain to drain any excess liquids to prevent the chips from getting soggy. This is crucial!! Bake for 10-12 minutes at 400° F, or until the cheese is melted, veggies are cooked, and the chips are golden brown.
