I’m a dietitian, and early motherhood still catche I’m a dietitian, and early motherhood still catches me off guard.

I knew what to eat. I understood habits.
But this season didn’t really fit into any of that.

I didn’t have the same time, energy, or consistency I was used to. And for a while, I honestly thought I just needed to try harder.

But that wasn’t it.

I needed something that actually fit my life now. Something simpler, more flexible, something I could come back to. Even on the days that felt off.

And that shift changed more than I expected.

It’s also what I keep coming back to with the moms I work with. Not more information, just a way of doing things that actually works in this season.

So if you’ve been feeling like nothing is really sticking lately - you’re not the only one.

This is exactly where I was in the beginning, and where most moms I work with start 🤍

tahini chocolate chip cookies 🍪 been baking these tahini chocolate chip cookies 🍪 been baking these on repeat lately 🫶🏼 they’re like a chocolate chip cookie, but better >> if you make them, let me know what you think!

*doubled the recipe when filming*

Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 12-14 minutes

Servings: 12 cookies

Ingredients
½ cup butter, room temperature, this is key!
1 cup coconut sugar
1 egg, room temperature
½ cup tahini
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ½ cup flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 cup mini chocolate chips
1 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment.
2. In a bowl, cream together butter and coconut sugar until smooth and slightly fluffy (about 1–2 minutes).
3. Mix in the egg, tahini, and vanilla extract, combining well.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda. Gradually add to the wet ingredients. Mix until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
5. Scoop the dough using a 2-tablespoon scoop and place on a baking sheet. Lightly press the tops and sprinkle with flaky sea salt. Bake for 12 minutes, longer if you prefer a crunchier cookie.
6. Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 10–15 minutes before transferring. Enjoy!
doing everything right but still feel off? 😴 you’r doing everything right but still feel off? 😴 you’re trying to eat well, stay active, take care of yourself…but your energy still feels low and by the end of the day you’re completely drained

a lot of the time, it’s not just what you’re doing, it’s the mental load, constant decisions, and interrupted routines keep your nervous system “on,” which affects energy, mood, and even sleep

your body doesn’t feel off because you’re doing it wrong, it feels off because it doesn’t feel supported

that’s why I focus on things like steady meals, simple snacks, getting outside, and small resets that lower the load throughout the day

because in this season, support matters more than perfection

come hang out if this is your kind of pace 🫶🏼
A few of our favorite stories, right where we can A few of our favorite stories, right where we can see them 🤍🚐 #AUPartner

Lately I’ve been keeping our photo albums out in the open, not tucked away, but layered into the spaces we live in every day. Because they’re more than stories…they’re part of our home and some of our most cherished memories. 🏜️

And if you know me, you know photography is my love language.🫶🏻 There truly is no better way to decorate your lived-in home than with memories that remind you of how simple yet exciting life can be.

I used the Photo-Wrapped Hardcover Book for both of our travel albums and couldn’t be more obsessed. Beautiful, timeless and meant to be seen. Just like the stories inside ✨

Not all dietitians approach health the same way… e Not all dietitians approach health the same way… especially when it comes to supporting moms

And if you’re in early motherhood, you deserve support that actually understands this season of life 🫶🏼

In honor of National Registered Dietitian Day, I thought I’d share 5 things you should know about working with me as a dietitian:

1️⃣ I don’t just talk about food. We talk about mindset, gratitude, regulating your nervous system, and actually making time to fill your cup. Because as moms, that has to be a priority too.

2️⃣ I’m not going to judge you for what you’re eating. Some mornings really do look like a couple cups of coffee paired with cookies. Instead of throwing in the towel, I’ll always encourage you to give yourself grace and simply start again at the next meal.

3️⃣ I don’t just teach macro counting. I help you understand what each macro actually does in your body, and why carbs are especially important in motherhood.

4️⃣ We go deeper than “eat more protein.” We talk about symptoms like anxiety, depression, and even postpartum rage, because many of these can be connected to nutrient depletion. After all, growing a human inside and outside your body takes a lot from your system. 🍼

5️⃣ I focus on helping you build a strong foundation based on the six pillars of health. When that foundation is in place, you’re able to stay flexible when life happens - cue the toddler tantrum that throws off your afternoon. That flexibility is what makes healthy habits sustainable.

Because motherhood isn’t the season for perfection - it’s the season for support.

If you’re a mom in early motherhood looking for a dietitian who will support you on your health journey, come join my community. 🤎

And to my fellow RDs - happy National Registered Dietitian Day! 🍓🥑🍔
