Tips for Making the Crispiest Bacon in the Oven

We purchase our grass fed bacon from a local, sustainable farmer. And let me tell you, you can definitely taste a difference in bacon when purchasing from a farmer versus store bought bacon. If you’re interested in finding a grass fed farmer near you, review this site.

When making bacon in the oven, I always, always recommend placing parchment paper on the pan before cooking. This will make for an easy clean-up!

Be sure to place the bacon on the pan evenly, without layering the bacon slices on top of each other. This will allow for more even cooking. If you like your bacon extra crispy, feel free to cook the bacon for a while longer. Be mindful that every oven is different. Generally, after 15-minutes, the bacon should be nearly done; be sure to keep a close eye on the bacon to ensure you cook it to your preferred texture. If you’re cooking thick-cut bacon, keep the bacon in for a few minutes longer.
