This Tangy Mango Avocado Salsa is the perfect flavorful and refreshing summer appetizer. Once you start eating it, you won’t be able to stop!
This Tangy Mango Avocado Salsa is a six-ingredient recipe. If you’re in a time crunch but looking for a delicious recipe to add as an appetizer or side to your meal, this one’s for you!
Avocado: to know if an avocado is ripe and ready to use, gently squeeze it. If it’s soft to touch, but not too mushy, it’s ready. It will also have a dark green to nearly black color with a bumpy texture.
Mangos: mangos will become softer as they ripen – if you gently squeeze a mango, the flesh should feel soft inside.
Bell Peppers: feel free to use any colored bell pepper. I chose to use a red bell pepper as it tends to have a sweeter, fruitier flavor and adds a beautiful color to this dish.
Red Onion: a red onion, like a red bell pepper, has a sweeter flavor when compared to other onions. This pairs nicely with the other ingredients used in the tangy mango avocado salsa!
Lime: this citrus fruit adds the perfect tangy flavor!
Salt: a great way to exemplify all the delicate flavors in this dish is by adding a dash of salt!
Cutting mangos and avocados can be intimidating. Review these two videos on how to accurately cut both a mango and avocado.
