Reminiscing Our Best Day with Our Favorite Wedding Memories

Preserving our favorite wedding day memories with a wedding photo album and bouquet picture frame.

We had our intimate backyard summer wedding with our immediate family on August 20, 2022. Despite it raining for most of the day, we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful wedding filled with laughs, love, and celebrations! What better way to preserve our memories of our favorite day than creating beautiful pieces that will be used as decor when we move into our next home?!

Preserving Our Wedding Day Memories With a Photo Album

My sister used Artifact Uprising to create her wedding photo album. After seeing how perfect her album turned out, I knew we had to spend the money on this stunning keepsake.

I chose to use their design services to help create our wedding album, and let me tell you, it turned out better than I could have dreamed of! They designed the pages perfectly and completed the album in a timely fashion.

Wedding Layflat Photo Album

Album Size: 8.25 x 11 – the perfect size for a coffee table book!

Fabric Color: Oatmeal

Foil Color: White – I was hoping to use gold. However, the designer recommended using white, as gold doesn’t always show well on the oatmeal linen.

Design: Namesake

Paper: Superfine – we are planning to use our wedding album as our guest book at our reception next year. Because of this, we chose the superfine paper as it will allow easy writing. However, if you aren’t planning to use this as a guest book, the designer did recommend choosing the Lustre paper as it does a great job showcasing color and detail.

Wedding Bouquet Picture Frame Details

I always knew I wanted to preserve my wedding bouquet in a creative way. After Pinteresting, I came across Pressed Floral and instantly fell in love.

Pressed Floral Details

I initially wanted the 16 x 20 frame. However, many of my flowers were wilted by the time they were delivered to Pressed Floral. I highly, highly recommend keeping your bouquet in a cool place after your wedding, until you can get them shipped out overnight.

Because my bouquet showed up wilted, the designer recommended I downsize frames to an 11 x 14. Because the designers are best at what they do, I listened to her recommendations, and I am very glad I did!

Frame Color: Sleek black

Style: Classic

I highly recommend you check out both these companies if you are looking for stunning decorative pieces of your big day. 🤍
