Ingredients Used in the Bruschetta

French bread or French baguette – if you prefer a softer crust, go with the French bread. I also tend to cut my slices a little thicker, as this tends to be a little heartier and easier to bite into.

Olive oil – you may swap this with avocado oil.

Cherry tomatoes – tomatoes are the star ingredient in this recipe. Make sure to get juicy, fresh tomatoes! You may also swap for roma tomatoes within this recipe.

Garlic – if using fresh garlic, be sure to mince into small pieces.

Purple onion – purple, white, or yellow onion all goes well within this recipe!

Basil – fresh basil combines all the flavors. Add more or less depending on what you prefer.

Balsamic vinegar – essential ingredient for an authentic flavor.

Goat cheese – you could always swap for feta cheese.

Balsamic glaze – this is the perfect finishing touch to the bruschetta!
