The Goat Cheese Bruschetta is the perfect appetizer for any party or get together. With the combination of fresh tomatoes, onion, garlic, and basil, this bruschetta is the perfect start to any meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 15 cherry tomatoes chopped
  • 1 tablespoon purple onion finely chopped
  • 3 basil leaves finely chopped
  • teaspoon garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons goat cheese crumbled
  • drizzle balsamic glaze

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375° F.
  • Cut French bread into slices, lightly coat the top side with olive oil. Place in oven until golden, about 10 minutes.
  • Chop the tomatoes, onion, and basil into bite-sized pieces. In a small bowl, combine the tomatoes, onion, basil, garlic and balsamic vinegar. Mix well.
  • When bread is golden, remove from oven and pour the tomato mixture on top of the bread, sprinkle on the goat cheese, and drizzle on the balsamic glaze. Place the bruschetta back into the oven for 5-10 minutes or until the bread has reached your desired texture.
  • Remove from oven, let cool, and enjoy!
