This Chocolate Avocado Mousse is a guilt-free dessert that’s both rich and silky smooth. Not to mention, it’s high in both fiber and omega-3s, making this dessert satisfying for both your sweet craving and hunger.

Why I LOVE This Chocolate Avocado Mousse

As a both a dietitian and new mom, I’m OBSESSED with this recipe for several reasons. One, it’s simple and quick to prepare, using just a handful ingredients. Two, it’s absolutely delicious – it personally tastes like chocolate pudding, but doesn’t come with all the unnecessary ingredients. You seriously cannot tell this chocolate mousse is made from avocados! And lastly, it’s loaded with healthy fats and omega-3s. This is a dessert I’ve been preparing all throughout pregnancy and while breastfeeding to ensure an adequate amount of healthy fats are consumed. A win-win, in my opinion!

Ingredients

  • 2 avocados
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • ¼ cup milk grass-fed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients within a high speed blender or food processor until smooth, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Add to your serving dishes, placing them within the fridge to chill for at least 30 minutes.
  • When ready, add your favorite toppings. Enjoy!
