How lucky are Karter and I that we get to do life with you! It’s been so fun watching you become the best daddy - from being there the moment we found out we were pregnant, to being the ultimate hype man through this journey. Homemade croutons🤤Perfect addition to any salad Homemade croutons🤤Perfect addition to any salad for a combination of both crunch and flavor. I used to eat croutons as a snack growing up (anyone else🙃) - these taste better and are even better for you! Full recipe below.

Makes 4-6 cups

Ingredients:
1 French bread 
½ cup avocado oil 
3 tbsp Italian seasoning 

Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375°  F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
2. Slice the bread into bite sized pieces, adding to a large bowl. Evenly drizzle the avocado oil and Italian seasoning over the bread, tossing gently until well-combined.
3. Spread the bread cubes out in a single layer on a baking sheet.
4. Bake until golden, turning once halfway through cooking in order to brown all sides of the croutons. Cooking time will depend on the thickness of the cubes, so watch to be sure that they do not burn, between 20-25 minutes.
5. Remove from the oven, and let cool completely.  Store in an air-tight container in the fridge. Enjoy!

Heading into spring with my new favorite decor 😍🌷I used @artifactuprising to frame some of our favorite memories from our babymoon - I mean, look at how cute Klark is 🥹 These frames will be the perfect addition to our bar area once the shelves are put in, making our space feel re-energized yet cozy as we head into this new season.

GOOD OLD-FASHIONED PANCAKES 🥞🫐 a favorited w GOOD OLD-FASHIONED PANCAKES 🥞🫐 a favorited weekend staple. Not to mention, they freeze well, too! I doubled the recipe to keep these in the freezer for a quick breakfast meal - just throw them in the toaster when ready to eat, add a topping of fruit and a side of eggs and you have a delicious breakfast meal in less than 10 minutes🤌🏼

10 pancakes

Ingredients
1 ¾ cup milk grassfed
¼ cup butter unsalted
2 eggs pasture raised
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups organic flour
3 tablespoons coconut sugar
2 teaspoons flaxseed meal
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 dash sea salt

Instructions
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir well.
2. Slowly add in the flour, coconut sugar, baking powder, flaxseed meal, and sea salt. Stir until all ingredients are well combined.
3. Place a cast iron skillet over medium heat. Sprinkle a few drops of water onto the skillet to test if it’s ready. The water droplets will dance around a bit and evaporate when ready.
4. Brush the skillet with melted butter.
5. Scoop the batter onto the skillet using a 1/4 cup measure and spread each pancake into a 4-inch circle.
6. After 1 to 2 minutes, the edges will look dry, and bubbles will form and pop on the surface. Flip the pancakes and cook for another 1 to 2 minutes until lightly browned and cooked in the middle.
7. Serve immediately with your favorite toppings and sides. Enjoy!
