Looking for a quick and nutritious snack? This one’s for you!
I’m always looking for quick and nutritious snacks to have when I get hunger pains between meals. This is one of my go-tos! It literally takes just a few minutes to prepare and leaves you feeling full and satisfied until your next meal. The best part about this three ingredient snack is how different it can taste each time you make it, depending on the variety of ingredients you use!
Apples – choose whatever variety you prefer. I’m a big fan of the Pink Lady, Fuji, or the Honeycrisp. However, feel free to use the Golden Delicious, Granny Smith or the Red Delicious variety!
Nut butters – some of my favorite nut butters include raw walnut butter with cashews, raw almond butter, or the classic peanut butter.
Chia seeds – I love sprinkling some chia seeds on top as it not only adds to the texture, it also adds antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, fiber, plant protein, and omega-3 fatty acids.
