Our wedding day details – we are MARRIED!! It was a beautiful weekend filled with laughs, love, and celebrations. Sharing all of the details below 🥳
After spending just a few short months planning for our intimate backyard summer wedding, our big day was finally here! We had family coming into town, kicking off our wedding festivities the Thursday before. We spent most of our time prepping all the small details – arranging bouquets, baking the cake, setting up the tent, stringing the lights, and laying out all the decorations. Beyond thankful for everyone’s help!
Our photographer was McKenna Marie Photography. She did a beautiful job capturing our special moments and making our big day seem like a dream. ✨
Our tables, chairs, wine goblets, and silverware were rented from Relics Rentals.
We catered our food from Parkside 23, a farm-to-table restaurant. Being a dietitian, I loovveed the idea of having a farm-to-table meal. We served a chopped summer vegetable farm salad, braised short rib, butter baked chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, and parsnip hash. It was delicious!
My mom made our vanilla wedding cake and let me just say, WOW, was that good. I was able to use my great grandmother’s cake topper too, which was the perfect touch.
For our other desserts, we had cake pops along with Kraig’s grandma’s famous oatmeal cookies.
Our flowers came from Cloud City Flower Farm. My bouquet turned out exactly how I envisioned, absolutely gorgeous!
For hair and make-up, my oldest sister did both. I kept my makeup minimal and curled my hair, leaving it down. After all, it was a simple backyard wedding. She also made our wine labels, menu, wedding sign, and recovery kits. Check-out her site if you are planning an event!
Despite it raining all-day, I wouldn’t change a thing. Marrying my best friend, spending time with family, and eating good food – honestly, you can’t get much better than that! God is so good. 🤍
Absolutely beautiful! Congratulations and best wishes to you!
Thank you, Sally!🎉
