The best things to do in Asheville, North Carolina

Nestled between the mountains and forest is Asheville, North Carolina. A lively city packed with dog friendly breweries and stunning views of the mountain landscape.

Breweries To Visit In & Near Asheville

A trip to Asheville isn’t complete until you visit at least one brewery. Listed below are our top four brewery recommendations.

  1. Sierra Nevada is hands down one of the coolest breweries we’ve been to. The atmosphere was light and exciting, beer was 10/10 and the food was, let’s just say, worth the wait!
  2. Hillman Beer is a small brewery located on the outside of the Biltmore Village (many cute shops in this area!). They had an array of beers ranging from German beers to Imperial Stouts. If you do visit this brewery, I highly recommend the HB Signature Burger – I mean, look at that photo. 😮‍💨
  3. New Belgium – enjoy some hazy IPAs or fruity hard seltzers on their outdoor patio.
  4. Highland Brewing – the first legal brewery in Asheville since prohibition!
