The main ingredient within this recipe is butter. I recommend purchasing grass fed, unsalted butter for top quality. I also recommend using a fresh lemon, garlic clove, and green onions, to exemplify the flavors within this dipping sauce. The variety of flavor coming from the dijon mustard, parsley, paprika, and cayenne pepper truly ties it all together, making this sauce one you’ll be wanting to make on repeat!
Fresh, flavorful spices can truly bring any meal to life. When choosing spices, look for those that are vibrant in color, as this will indicate freshness. Some of my favorite spice brands include The Spice House and Simply Organic. They have such a great variety of delicious spices that can add flavor to any meal!
This Cowboy Butter Dipping Sauce can be used as a spread or dip. It pairs nicely with steak, chicken, turkey, breakfast sandwiches, pastas, fingerling potatoes, and mixed veggies. I’ll also add this as a dipping sauce to charcuterie boards to be spread over crackers and breads!
It takes a total of 15 minutes and three steps to prepare this delicious, versatile sauce.
