This Easy Homemade Taco Seasoning Mix is infused with savory and spicy seasonings, making it the perfect addition to any taco or nacho dish. It’s a must try!
Fresh, flavorful spices can truly bring any meal to life. When choosing spices, look for those that are vibrant in color, as this indicates freshness. Some of my favorite spice brands include The Spice House and Simply Organic. They have a great variety of delicious spices that can add flavor to any meal!
To make this homemade taco seasoning, combine all spices within a small bowl, stirring well. Feel free to add more or less of the spices depending on your preference. I recommend doubling or tripling this recipe, based on how often you plan to use this homemade taco seasoning. Be certain to store in an airtight container, such as a Weck jar, and store your spices in a cool, dark place to prolong shelf life.
I love using this homemade taco seasoning mix when making tacos, nachos, chicken fajitas, or quesadillas. It’s honestly so nice to reach in the pantry for a delicious, flavorful mix that will provide mouth watering flavor in a matter of minutes. I highly encourage having this seasoning on hand at all times!
As a side note, you can’t go wrong with pairing my mango avocado salsa and guacamole as an appetizer and margaritas as a beverage when making any of the meals mentioned above. It’s always a hit in our household!
