These Bacon Wrapped Goat Cheese Poppers make the perfect appetizer. Try the two different variations listed below at your next party!
These jalapeño poppers are the perfect appetizer. To make them, slice the jalapeños in half, lengthwise, removing the seeds. Stuff the jalapeños with goat cheese, then wrap a slice of bacon around the jalapeño pepper. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes at 400° F or until the bacon is crispy. Serve immediately and enjoy!
For the date poppers, slice the dates in half, lengthwise. Remove the seed if needed. Stuff the dates with goat cheese, then wrap half a slice of bacon around the date. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes at 400° F or until the bacon is crispy. Serve immediately and enjoy!
If you have extra goat cheese to use up, I highly recommend making the Goat Cheese Bruschetta – it pairs nicely with the poppers!
Grass-fed bacon is also specified in this recipe. We purchase our bacon from a local, sustainable farmer. If you’re interested in finding a grass fed farmer near you, review this site.
