What Can Be Found Within my Postpartum Wellness Accountability Challenge?

In this accountability challenge, I’m sharing information regarding the five pillars of health – nutrition, hydration, movement, stress management, and rest. The focus for this challenge is to share with you the tips and tricks I’ve learned that have helped me curate a healthy, balanced lifestyle while being on my own postpartum journey.

Nutrition

Within the nutrition section, you’ll find content reviewing the importance of consuming balanced meals that include protein, fats, and carbohydrates. I’ll also be sharing the importance of consuming adequate protein, low-sugar snack ideas, and the benefits of meal planning. Not only is the nutrition information valuable to promote breast milk production, it’s great information to ensure proper nutrition for your growing family. The focus is to provide a foundation to build a balanced, sustainable lifestyle for both you and your family in the chaos of motherhood.

Hydration

In the hydration section, I’ll be discussing the importance of consuming adequate fluids throughout the day, and a general recommendation of how many ounces to consume while keeping breastfeeding in mind.

Movement

This section will review the importance of daily movement through both lifestyle activities and structured physical activity.

Stress Management

Stress is a normal part of life. However, sometimes it becomes overwhelming, especially when your routine no longer exists! In this section, I talk about a variety of topics that can help manage stress levels. This will include tips on creating a morning routine to set yourself up for a positive and productive day. Along with breathwork to help reduce stress and calm your mind anywhere, at any time.

Rest

In the rest section, I’ll be reviewing the essential functions of sleep and how to get as much as possible with little ones constantly needing you. I’ll also be discussing the importance of self-care and creating connections. Because when you fill up your own cup, it’s easier to fill up others.

Tasks

At the end of the work book, you’ll find a section asking specific questions designed to help you create a roadmap towards achieving your health goals. This work book is intended for you to focus on making small, consistent changes to achieve your ultimate, postpartum goals.
