These 4-Ingredient Crispy Garlic Baked Kale Chips are a guilt-free option for a salty snack. Not only will they satisfy a craving, they also provide an array of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals.
Kale is a dark leafy green vegetable that contains a variety of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fiber. Kale contains a good amount of vitamin K, a fat-soluble vitamin. When pairing the avocado oil with the kale, the healthy fats will help to absorb this fat-soluble vitamin. However, be mindful that kale is included on the Dirty Dozen list. I highly recommend purchasing organic kale and properly cleaning it before consumption.
Kale chips will typically keep their crunch for 2-3 days. However, I recommend to consume them the same day you prepare them for peak crispiness. Other tips include letting them cool completely before storing them in an airtight container at room temperature. This will ensure your kale chips do not become soggy.
