Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew – tis the season for pumpkin spice! This cozy fall drink is made with real ingredients for a delicious beverage to enjoy as the seasons change.
The transition from summer to fall is my favorite time of year. When the temperatures begin to cool, leaves begin to change color, cozy sweaters become a wardrobe staple, fall decor decorates the home, and fall spiced drinks are consumed. There is honestly nothing better!
This beverage contains just a handful of ingredients, most of which are pantry staples. The pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice give this beverage its fall flavor, the coconut milk provides the creamy, frothy texture, and the vanilla extract and maple syrup provide the sweetness. However, the secret ingredient is cold brew coffee. You can make cold brew coffee by steeping coffee grounds in water for 12-18 hours, extracting the caffeine. So how do you make this Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew?
If you know me well, you know I always have cold brew readily available in our fridge. Use a cold brew coffee maker to make fresh cold brew coffee – the key ingredient used in this recipe! After combining the ingredients into your coffee mug, use a frother until the combination reaches a creamy texture. If you want a more aesthetic and flavorful beverage, sprinkle more pumpkin pie spice on top. Enjoy!
