Tahini Chocolate Chip Cookies
These Tahini Chocolate Chip Cookies are one of my favorite desserts to make. Not only are they simple to prepare, but they're also the TASTIEST cookies with their soft, chewy texture.

Servings: 12 cookies
- ½ cup butter room temperature, this is key!
- 1 cup coconut sugar
- 1 egg room temperature
- ½ cup tahini
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cup flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment.
In a bowl, cream together butter and coconut sugar until smooth and slightly fluffy (about 1–2 minutes).
Mix in the egg, tahini, and vanilla extract, combining well.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda. Gradually add to the wet ingredients. Mix until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
Scoop the dough using a 2-tablespoon scoop and place on a baking sheet. Lightly press the tops and sprinkle with flaky sea salt. Bake for 12 minutes.
Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 10–15 minutes before transferring. Enjoy!
