Wisconsin Brandy Old Fashioned

The Wisconsin Brandy Old Fashioned is the state's variation on the classic whiskey Old Fashioned. You can make it sweet or sour, garnishing with cherries, an orange slice, or pickled olives or mushrooms.

Ingredients

  • 1 Maraschino cherry
  • 1 orange slice
  • 4 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 2 ounces brandy liquor
  • 6 ounces lemon-lime soda or grapefruit soda

Instructions

  • In a drinking glass, muddle the cherry, orange slice, and bitters.
  • Add brandy liquor and fill glass with ice.
  • Top with soda of choice. Stir well. Enjoy!
