- 1 loaf sourdough bread
- 10 pasture-raised eggs
- 2 ½ cups milk
- ½ cup vanilla Greek yogurt
- ¾ cup coconut sugar
- 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
Topping
- ¾ cup organic flour
- ½ cup coconut sugar
- 3 teaspoons cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
- ½ dash allspice
- ½ cup butter melted
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Cut bread into even bite-sized pieces. Place into a greased 9 x 13 pan.
Mix eggs, milk, vanilla Greek yogurt, sugar and vanilla, beat well. Pour over cut loaf in the 9 x 13 pan and combine well.
In a medium sized bowl, combine the flour, coconut sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and butter. Crumble on top of the French Toast Bake.
Place within the oven for 1 hour, or until the eggs have set. Let rest for 15 minutes before serving.
Enjoy with fresh fruit, or the Triple Berry Jam, and a mimosa for a sweet treat!
You may make the recipe the night before or make the morning of.
Add some toppings you enjoy such as fruit, maple syrup, or crushed pecans!
