Tasty French Toast Bake

This Tasty French Toast Bake is a family favorite! It is a quick and easy to make recipe that may be made the night before or the day of.

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf sourdough bread
  • 10 pasture-raised eggs
  • 3 cups milk
  • ½ cup vanilla Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup coconut sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract

Topping

  • ½ cup organic flour
  • ¼ cup coconut sugar
  • 3 teaspoons cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ½ dash allspice
  • ¼ cup butter melted

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350° F.
  • Cut bread into even bite-sized pieces. Place into a greased 9 x 13 pan.
  • Mix eggs, milk, vanilla Greek yogurt, sugar and vanilla, beat well. Pour over cut loaf in the 9 x 13 pan and combine well.
  • In a medium sized bowl, combine the flour, coconut sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and butter. Crumble on top of the French Toast Bake.
  • Place within the oven for 1 hour, or until the eggs have set. Let rest for 15 minutes before serving.
  • Enjoy with fresh fruit, or the Triple Berry Jam, and a mimosa for a sweet treat!

Notes

You may make the recipe the night before or make the morning of. 
Add some toppings you enjoy such as fruit, maple syrup, or crushed pecans!
