- 1 pound ground beef grass-fed
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil
- 1 small yellow onion minced
- 1 teaspoon garlic minced
- 32 ounces beef bone broth
- 12 ounces tomato paste
- 28 ounces diced tomatoes
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 2 cup butternut squash frozen
- 1 cup corn frozen
- 15.5 ounces kidney beans rinsed
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- ½ teaspoon Cajun
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- black pepper to taste
- sea salt to taste
Place the ground beef in a large pan, cook over medium heat until browned. Drain off the excess fat.
In a large pot, add in avocado oil, minced onion and garlic. Cook for five minutes or until fragrant.
Add the browned ground beef to the pot along with the remaining ingredients, combining well.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low and let simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally.
Remove from the heat. Let the chili rest for 5-10 minutes before serving. Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!
