Sautéed Apples

These sautéed apples are the perfect fall dessert. They are quick and easy to make, all while filling your home with the smells of autumn!

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ tablespoon coconut oil
  • 3 large apples
  • 1 teaspoon ceylon cinnamon
  • ½ cup walnuts crushed

Instructions

  • In a large skillet or saucepan, melt the coconut oil over medium heat.
  • Clean and chop the apples into thin slices and add them into the skillet. Per your preference, you may either keep the skin on or remove the apple skin. Next, add the ceylon cinnamon and crushed walnuts.
  • Cook the apples until tender on medium-low heat, about 20 minutes.
  • Remove from heat. Sprinkle extra cinnamon or walnuts over apples if preferred. Serve immediately. Enjoy!

Enjoy on their own, or add them as a topping to pancakes and waffles!
