Loaded Taco Nachos

Nachos are perfect for any evening dinner or appetizer for football Sunday.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 1 pound ground beef grass fed
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • ¾ - 1 bag tortilla chips

Optional Toppings

  • cheese shredded
  • bell peppers chopped
  • red onion chopped
  • jalapeño chopped
  • salsa
  • avocado sliced
  • lime garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400° F.
  • Using an oiled medium sized skillet, brown your ground beef over medium heat, mixing in the taco seasoning. Set aside.
  • Add your bag of tortilla chips to a baking sheet, layering on your cheese.
  • Next, add the beef, bell peppers, red onion and jalapeño, being certain to drain any excess liquids to prevent the chips from getting soggy.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted, veggies are cooked, and chips are golden brown.
  • Top with salsa and sliced avocado. Enjoy!
