Dice the apple into small, bite-sized pieces. Dry the apple by having them bake in the oven for two hours, at 225℉.
When apples are dried, preheat oven to 350° F. Combine apple, coconut oil, vanilla extract, and honey into a large bowl, mix well. Set aside.
Place oats, flaxseed, cinnamon, and allspice into a medium sized bowl, mix well.
Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, stirring well.
Place combination on a greased cookie sheet. Spread the combination evenly so all granola cooks evenly.
Bake for 25 minutes or until lightly brown, stir once halfway through.
Remove from oven and let cool completely. Store the granola in an airtight container at room temperature for 1 to 2 weeks. Enjoy!
