Ingredients

  • 1 apple diced and dried
  • ½ cup coconut oil melted
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 cups sprouted rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoon ground flaxseed
  • 2 teaspoon ceylon cinnamon
  • 1 dash allspice

Instructions

  • Dice the apple into small, bite-sized pieces. Dry the apple by having them bake in the oven for two hours, at 225℉.
  • When apples are dried, preheat oven to 350° F. Combine apple, coconut oil, vanilla extract, and honey into a large bowl, mix well. Set aside.
  • Place oats, flaxseed, cinnamon, and allspice into a medium sized bowl, mix well.
  • Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, stirring well.
  • Place combination on a greased cookie sheet. Spread the combination evenly so all granola cooks evenly.
  • Bake for 25 minutes or until lightly brown, stir once halfway through.
  • Remove from oven and let cool completely. Store the granola in an airtight container at room temperature for 1 to 2 weeks. Enjoy!
