Ingredients

  • 8-10 apples
  • ½ cup cinnamon chips
  • 1 cup organic flour
  • ½ cup coconut sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ceylon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¾ teaspoon sea salt
  • 6 tablespoons grass fed butter unsalted

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350° F.
  • Peel and slice apples. Place in an 8 x 8 pan. Add more or less apples per preference.
  • Top apples with cinnamon chips.
  • In a separate small bowl, combine the flour, coconut sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, sea salt, and melted butter. Be sure to mix well.
  • Evenly sprinkle mixture over apples.
  • Bake the apple crisp for 30-35 minutes, or until the crisp is browned and the apples are tender. Store at room temperature. Enjoy!
